We are the world's fifth largest multinational provider of professional services in: • Accountancy • Assurance • Management consultancy • Taxation • Corporate advisory services SUPERVISORS Duties and Responsibilities (Supervisors) * Plan, control and execute audit engagements in accordance with BDO audit approach * Provide technical leadership for audit engagements * Manage audit assignments through the seniors and ensure thorough supervision at all time * Manage risk issues which may arise in the course of carrying out audit engagements, and escalate where the degree of risk is significant * Carry out relevant reviews, including financial statements to ensure compliance with the international accounting standards. * Provide every necessary support as may be required by managers and assistant managers SENIORS Duties and Responsibilities (Seniors) * Plan, control and execute audit engagements in accordance with BDO audit approach * Plan audit engagements * Demonstrate proper understanding of the client's business and accounting systems * Be conscious of the risk associated with the client's business and ways to mitigate those risks * Communicate audit finding clearly and promptly * Manage audit trainees and ensure they comply with the firms standard at all time * Provide every necessary support as may be required to supervisors, assistant managers and managers TRAINEE Duties and Responsibilities (Trainees) * Carry out preliminary work involved in audit engagements planning as assigned by superiors * Carry out in-depth analysis of schedules allocated to him/her by the in charge * Comply with the firms standard in the course of carrying out audit engagements * Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by superiors Method of Application Interested candidates should forward their applications along with their curriculum vita to recruitments@bdo-ng.com (hint: Use the job title as the subject of your email)
